During my journey to Iceland in 2022, I was captivated by the elemental forces that have shaped this remarkable land. Fire and ice, along with the raw power of the sea, has forged a unique landscape and influenced its people and culture.
I embarked on an exploration of the nascent and dramatic landscape surrounded by the sea's ancient and often violent rhythms.
Amidst its volcanoes, waterfalls, glaciers, and the relentless waves , I found inspiration in the opposing forces of nature.
My work reflects this duality, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty that emerges from nature’s contrasts and to contemplate their internal duality within their own personal landscapes.
